pasirputih is a Pemenang-based egalitarian nonprofit organization, North Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. They focuses on the development of media literacy, art and sociocultural studies. Established on December 28th, 2009, following the akumassa workshop initiated by the Forum Lenteng. Since then, pasirputih becomes one of akumassa‘s network in West Nusa Tenggara. pasirputih works by facilitating arts education, writing and recording the aspects of social, cultural and arts which includes histories and contemporary issues in the framework of contextual studies nowadays. Using the perspective of cultural and local, as well as the collaborative approach, the diversity of social issues, arts and culture of West Nusa Tenggara in particular and of Indonesia in general, also of the international world. They usually use audiovisual medium such as film and video.
pasirputih is the organization partner for the first project of akumassa Chronicle in North Lombok. Together with Forum Lenteng, pasirputih is the host for akumassa Chronicle’s artists-in-residence program, inviting artists, writers, and researchers of the local region of West Nusa Tenggara and of other provinces.

Short Biography of pasirputih’s Members
Syamsul Hadi
b. 1989 in Karang Subagan. Since 2011, he has been member of pasirputih. Hadi was the editor of Elesan Deq A Tutuq, a film produced in collaboration between Forum Lenteng and pasirputih (2013). Now, Hadi is the Secretary at pasirputih.
Maskanah
b. 1991 in Gili Air. She was graduated from IAIN Mataram, Faculty of Tarbiyah, Department of Economy. Now, beside as one of pasirputih‘s member, she is also active in Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDES).
Ahmad Humaedi
b. 1995 in Gunungsari. He is a studeng of Islamic Broadcasting, IAIN Mataram. He had participated in documentary film workshop organized by Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy in Bali, and residency program at Hanafi Studio, Depok. He is the Coordinator of KelasWah.
Ahmad Rosidi
b.1989. He is the Coordinator of berajahaksara. He is a student of Islamic Broadcast Department, IAIN Mataram. He was the Chief of BKSM SAKSI IAIN Mataram which focus on art. Founder of Berugaq Pictures. In 2015, he participated in Curators Workshop organized by ruangrupa.
Etika Lailaturrahmah
b. 1996 in Dusun Bentek. She is majoring Educational Science at State University of Mataram. She often makes short film on students issue. She is the Coordinator of Juvenile Gathering Program focused on juvenile issue in North Lombok.
Hamdani
b. 1993 in Karang Desa. He was graduated from SMAN Negeri 1 Pemenang. He is active in theater, writings and poem. At pasirputih, he is in charge at Juvenile Gathering Program.
Muhammad Rusli
b. 1994 in Saudi Arabia. He is a studeng of Islamic Broadcast, IAIN Mataram. He is also a member of Student Association of KPI Department. At pasirputih, he is the Coordinator of Bioskop pasirputih.
Muhammad Gozali
b. 1983 in North Lombok. He was graduated from Syari’ah Department of IAIN Mataram. He is the Director of pasirputih.
Muhammad Sibawaihi
b. 1988, lives and works in North Lombok. Sibawaihi is a writer, researcher, art and media activist, and also one of young prominent intellectuals in North Lombok. Now he is the Program Director of pasirputih.
