Gelar himself has several plans and work categories related to audiovisual. The first is a video work collaborated with Mr. Wahid. Gelar is going to conduct screenings of videos donated by people in Pemenang to Kanal pasirputih and will be broadcasted in Mr. Wahid’s TV cable lines. The second is video works about the Bangsal that is to be installed on the digital baliho owned by local government at the Bangsal. The third is video works which will frame the visual of water or sea or beach, in which Gelar can invite everyone whom he will meet in Bangsal to join into the shooting process together with him. The fourth is a happening art that will try to mobilize hundreds of people to board onto dozens of ships which move from Gili Islands to Bangsal. It’s expected to be a statement about cultural values, togetherness and religiosity of Pemenang. However, the fourth plan is still in the exploratory stage and negotiation with several public figures in Pemenang.
In the afternoon, accompanied by Hamdani, Gelar took footages at Bangsal Harbor for his video of third category. In his personal notes, Gelar put an identification, “montage of water”, for this kind of video works.
