On February 5th, 2016, at 10 am, Muhaimi, a participant of akumassa Chronicle, had been at pasirputih. The heavy rain did not deter Mr. Muhamei for riding his motorcycle towards the North Lombok. Mr. Muhami came to pasirputih to explained the progress of his work that will involve Pemenang people.
Mr. Muhaimi wants to conduct a performance of Perisean, a traditional theatrical fighting and dancing, or called Sematian by Pemenang people. According to his plan, he will ask children to perform this work. He thinks that Sematian can be learned as something that we shouldn’t be afraid of. In the process making, Mr. Muhaimi will encourage the kids using secondhand goods for the equipment of their Sematian performance. For the example, they will use the headbands made from secondhand plastics, use shield made from secondhand cartoon paper. And for the music, Mr. Muhaemi was planning to encourage the kids play the percussion made from secondhand goods as well. In addition, Mr. Muhaemi will choose some kids to do Sematian dancing.
